Rebecca weds David in a Henry Roth DevotedX gown on January 05, 2019.

We met nearly ten years ago on the first night of our undergraduate Freshman orientation. We first became friends and then began dating a month later. Neither of us wanted anything serious when we first met, but we soon realized that the universe had other plans for us. We are each other’s solid foundation and we support each other in our dreams and goals. (He’s a lawyer and I’m a theatre director). Our passions are wildly different, but what links them is our devotion to those passions and each other. We believe in each other fiercely and have given each other space and time to pursue our goals. We’ve weathered long distance for over two years and have lived together and apart, but our love remains the constant. We’re so thrilled to be in the same city again and make our life together!
Our love story is classically romantic but also modern and this dress perfectly tells that story. We are a partnership of equals and we support each other in our dreams and goals, often moving apart or away to do so, but we are always “devoted’ and committed to each other. Our love is strong and has a very solid foundation and structure (much like the dress) but is flexible, understanding, spontaneous, and whimsical, much like the gown itself.
